Huji Cam is a real gift for any fan of photography and especially the properties of the old, “tube” film of the end of the last millennium. Very good and playful app, yet I paid for the premium option in order to have the pictures automatically saved into my gallery without having to download each individual photo… I have the receipt on the Google store, but the option has never been unblocked. So I’ve basically paid for an extra that has not been made available to me…

I absolutely LOVE this app, however. I bought the full version on my other phone, but when I got a new phone, there’s no way to restore the purchase I previously made, and even when I try to buy the full version again, it won’t load properly. I really love this app and I’m willing to pay for all the extras again, but it won’t allow me! Otherwise, five star app!

I’ve been using this for so long now, it’s been years already and I love it. However, just last few days up until now, I can’t seem to open the open app. Whenever I click the app on my phone it doesn’t launch the app anymore and worst my phone detects that this app uses my phone battery so much so my phone tries to force it to close. I don’t know what to do. The app still holds a lot of photos that I haven’t saved to my device yet. Please help.

I love the app, I truly do. I’ve used it for so long. The filter is really beautiful, and I love how using the flash makes the colors of the photo so saturated. It is frustrating to be unable to zoom and manually focus, but I’ve been able to still have beautiful photos. However, it is heartbreaking to lose all of my photos if my phone decides to wipe itself (as it did recently) and I have no way to get the photos back. As an update, we should be able to sign into an account as to keep photos.

I love this app very much. The vintage effect is very well done and very close to the old film we got in the early days. However, and it seems I am not alone in this case, I purchased the full version, but nothing changed. I still got ads and I cannot access the extra options… I e-mailed the devs (and contacted them on messenger) but no response. Pls do something.

I hate to rate this so low because I think the photos that come out look great, however I paid for the “premium features” which should allow you, in part, to upload your own photos into Huji. This does not work. No additional options present themselves as other have noted. Please fix this. This is technically fraud. Would love to come back and change my review upon this app delivering on what it charges for.

Well I love the app but like everyone else I bought the premium pack and can’t use it. Ads still show up, can’t import, etc. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, I added all the permissions, I did everything possible. I have an Android. Pretty annoying because it didn’t have a problem taking the payment. Hopefully that gets resolved.

I adore this app. The effects are beautiful. It gives you a randomized film effect. You can make a few customizations based on your preference. I like it because I tend to spend too much time editing my photos in other apps and this one is just simple. You get what you get so you’re not spending a ton of time comparing every filter or lighting effect available. Definitely worth purchasing the one time premium free in order to import photos from your gallery.

It’s like a hit or miss, I take a picture and sometimes it comes up nice. But most of the time it’s blurry like it didn’t develope all the way. The Pixel is horrible. And sometimes the picture isn’t even there, it’s either all blacked out or 75% of the picture doesn’t exist. I’ll give it one star because these problems happen way more than often.

I love the app, it is soo easy to use. Also it is really good quality if you like the disposable vibe. There are so many settings you can put like timer, how you want the quality, and even the date! ( it puts it on the photo). You can also put lighting effects too, just like in photoshop. Love, Love, Love!

This is the best camera application that I have found. I love the color filter and the saturation that it adds to the images. I’m just sad that there isn’t a video recording option. Other than that. 10 out of 10, reccomend it.

Room for improvement. Sometimes it doesn’t focus well (u can’t tap to focus ta subject). Also suggesting for a select multiple to save into to the gallery (manually it takes time) Been using for about a year. Thanks! Its free!

Amazing! Only 79p to upload photos, image quality is outstanding, my only issue is it makes orange and red tones very oversaturated so some of the photos where I’m wearing warm coloured eyeshadow turned out poorly. I’d also like to be able to choose the effect going on to the photo – random light effects are nice but I’d like it to be optional as the light effect often doesn’t go with the photo or isn’t added at all.

7 stars for this app. This is the coolest app ever have tons of fun with your friends or alone. Change the dates on your pics and try to Bluff someone into believing that was you then. You can also take the pics over into photo editor in a separate app and change your age and body size add clothes or take them off anyway you like all fake only on the pick. Set whatever date you would like and show It 2 your friends… Bluff them into thinking you caught them at a awkward moment… LoL.. LOL ..

See the thing is that i really love the app but the problem is that if you delete the app by mistake then you cant restore the photos. All in all, the picture quality is really aesthetic and it comes out absolutely beautifully, but it should come up with the solution to sync the photos.

Really cool app if you want that disposable film camera filter on your photos without having to go out and buy a film camera. This is much more cost effective and easy to use without any interference from ads

Love this APP so much except i wish you had an account because Everytime you get a new phone you will lose all of your photos because recently i switched phones and i LOST all of my photos which really sucks but i can’t do anything about it right now still love the app tho!!

Loved this app even before everyone started using it, super simple for a cute aesthetic!! You can even upload you own pictures you didnt take in app if you pay a one time fee of like 4 dollars I think. Worth it!!

I really love this app. But recently I got a new phone, and I have to save the pictures to my camera roll to transfer them to my new phone. I wish u could make an account or something so that way if you re-download the app, or get a new phone it’s easier to transfer. But besides that I really like this app it’s awesome

I love the quality but the only complaint i have is about the pinch zoom aspect and the fact that it doesn’t have the ability to video…imagine making videos with such a great cam, it would be delightful ?

I bought the extra options, then I had to get a replacement phone since I cracked the screen and all my purchases are gone and I don’t know how to restore them. The app is otherwise really nice, makes for nice photos but I’d like what I spent my money on :(.

Love the huji App. It’s never failed me when it comes to taking pictures, no matter your skill level in photography the pictures come out looking awesome… But I do think it’s strange it makes you put your face close to the front camera to make it full screen.

I love the effect of the camera. But I would like the ability to zoom. And also, there should be a provision to restore photos if the app is deleted. I just had to delete the app because the the camera isn’t flipping to the front. I downloaded it again, but it’s still not flipping. Can’t figure out why this has happened suddenly when it was working fine yesterday.

No updates in about two years. The iOS app was updated last year with more effects but it seems the Android has been abandoned. You can’t zoom, tap to focus or select a light effect of your choice. Better download KUJI CAM since it’s regularly updated and is more feature rich.

It has good quality, is easy to use, and has nice light effects. There was a time it was acting up, but that issue was resolved. Overall, it is satisfactory.

The free app works well, but as other users have pointed out the paid version does not work. I hope this is a glitch and that the developers will fix it. Edit: They fixed this issue.

I’ve been using this app for a full year now and finally decided to buy the extra options for 80p (should’ve done it earlier if I’m honest). Without the extra options you’re not losing out much either. I am happy with this app and recommend it to anyone who’s looking for this sort of thing. One feature I would like to suggest is (if Preserve Original photo setting is enabled) that the original photos be saved in a different folder. TL;DR My experience has only been positive.

Honestly one of the best camera apps I’ve ever downloaded, it’s simple yet the design is lovely and the results are even better. It’s really *aesthetic* for those who want that kind of thing. I love the retro feel it gives to photos. I would definitely recommend this app.

I love the graphics, the app is easy to use and wonderful but the only problem with me is when I try and share the pictures from huji to Discord it doesn’t show the jpeg at all

The app has potential but I just wish the creators weren’t so lazy with the app. It performs very slow and don’t u even dare blame it on my phone because my RAM is 6GB, so my phone performs very fast and efficient but this app it self is slow even though it has average vintage filters.

The UI is designed to look like a disposable camera, which is fun. It stores its photos on its own library, which you can export. The light effect is fun but it would be nice to have more options to choose from maybe?

Great little app. Surprizing, beautiful results, really inspires to just shoot. Allows to customize the date format and to save the original, stuff that many other apps overlook. Not too expensive or intrusive either. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love this app and I take all of my photos on it. Recently I took some really important pictures to me on it and when I went back into the app none of them would load so I restarted my phone and every time I opened the app it closed. It’s been three days since it’s started doing that. Today it finally worked but every picture I have ever took in the past two years is gone and I’m really sad and wan to know where they all went. Even my purchases were gone.

I’ve used huji for over a yr now and loved how the filter would develop my photos vibrant and vintage. As of a few days ago the app refuses to open and won’t allow me to even access any of my photos due to the app crashing while trying to open it . If I can at least get the app to open so I can save my photos to my device I’ll be less stressed. I’ve enjoyed using the app up until now since it won’t open up for me. I’ve reached out by email and still no response 🙁
