Dream Daddy is a dating simulator with beautiful cartoon-style graphics, various mechanics that are built into the gameplay, as well as a variety of opportunities for a young dad who wants to meet other young dads. The main character and his daughter recently moved to another city, where they completely know no one. Walking around the neighborhood led the character to the conclusion that there are a lot of excellent candidates for closer communication. Gamers are offered not only similar gameplay, but also a lot of mini-games, secrets, unexpected discoveries for the most attentive and much more that will not let you get bored.

I absolutely love this game!! Played it on ps4 and here just because I love it so much. However, I think people are missing the point of paying for the game. On ps4, you also have to pay for it (obviously, because it’s a fully fleshed out game). On here, they actually give you a sort of discount by allowing you 3 free messages to try it out, whereas on ps4 you just buy it. It costs that much because it’s a fully developed game. I seriously reccomend paying for the full thing, it’s worth it!!

I think what people don’t understand about this game is that this is a demo! This game was developed for Steam (on PC) and released on consoles *ps4 and xbox* this is why after you play the free trial you have to pay 15 dollars to continue. It isn’t exactly a mobile game charging an outrageous price for such, it is a real game developed for platforms that us nor offered on mobile for the same price as it is sold for consoles. Hope that clears it up…

Dream Daddy is a fantastic game! On the computer. I would like to say that the game doesn’t work on my phone because of hardware issues, but every other game on my phone plays as smooth as silk. I was excited to play as a Dad and romance Dads again while on my phone, but it is just impossible. The game never actually loads past the initial screen and it is nearly impossible to create my Dad in character creation. 3 out of 5 stars for great content that I know is there, but unusable controls.

Fun and then done. You use up those 3 free dates and then are expected to pay 14.99 to actually finish the game. That’s not realistic. There’s a reason games with microtransactions do so well. It’s easier to spend .99 on 3 more dates than 4.99 or 14.99 to finish the game. Also when people have an ad watching option, they’re more likely to get further into the game and then it seems more reasonable to spend money on it. Just my 2 cents, since you’re definitely not getting my 15 dollars. ?

Absolutely amazing. I enjoyed this game very, VERY much and to finally be playing it after 3 years feels GREAT!! The stories are engaging and well-written, the art is beautiful, the music is great… There were minor glitches, but to me, it did not take away from the experience. Great job, Game Grumps. Now, I’m looking forward to a mobile version of Monster Prom :3

The dialogue is intelligent enough to simulate reality. Each character has unique personalies and interacts with each other well. Graphics are comic book-esque, neat, and colorful. Honestly, the game is superb, however, the enjoyment is short lived as you hit 3 dates in about 20 – 30 mins. I wish I had a little bit more of a preview to see if I’d spend 15 dollars. Maybe a daily or weekly reset on dates? Will I play this again? I’m not sure. Maybe I’ll spend 15 bucks on a drink at a bar IRL

It was a really fun game! I’ve always wanted to play dream daddy, (since I don’t have a steam acc., Or any money) And seeing it on Google play made me very exited! It’s a little glitchy on my phone, and I don’t really like the fact that you only get 3 dates. I wish it would give you more every hour or so. But overall it’s an amazing game to play if you’re as gay as me.

Slow loads… Making your daddy takes forever because of input lag… The free version gives you the option to only date 1 dad or go on 3 first dates… Otherwise you pay per 3 dates or $15 to stir the whole pot. Loved the jokes, characters and art, however this clunky version did not feel worth any real money.

The app is absolutely amazing and I love it very very much, but I wish so badly that it had a free option to get messages, like watching an add to get one message or something like that… The game is also cheapier to pc which doens’t make sense to me. Please create an alternative to paying such a high price.

This mobile port of Dream Daddy is awesome! It’s another platform to play the game. I wish the game could be bought outright instead of a free initial download, but this draws more players in. The controls are smooth and the game is fun as always.

basically, don’t play this game if you won’t pay and don’t want time wasted. You’ll hav to read through a long intro for 2 hrs or so, before realizing you need to pay to actually get into and proceed with the game. arnd $4+ for 3 credits or 14$ for unli gameplay. there’s even no free initial credits.

OMG! I love this game! i love how you can customise your character and name yourself and be into the story line and it also has a lesson on how hard it is to grow and I respect that! Thanks for making such a great game on how hard it is to grow up and how you can grow from your choices.

Changed my star rating to 5. There are so many options and things to go back and retry. The game is worth paying for. Your daughter in this game is so funny. The mc is so dumb but the dads are very different and all have deep stories behind them. A couple I didn’t like at the start ended up being my faves. (Check out the hidden ending online and you’ll want to play this game) Also, you can hookup, die, smoke weed, find a lost dog, see a phantom, see an art show, and much more. Wild and fun!

I really enjoyed this visual novel type date simulator!! It was just an impulse download but I ended up paying the $15 (otherwise you only get 4 “lives”) for the full game. Solid graphics, easy controls, good fast forward system and extremely creative/funny/nerdy dialogue. That was what sold me. Mini games provide some break from the novel (my fave being the nod to pokemon). Overall recommended.

I was super excited about this because I dont have a pc so I couldn’t play this game when it came out but when you get done with the intro you cant proceed without paying and im not paying 4.00$ for only 3 messages or 15.00$ for unlimited… thats insane and i get you guys need to make profit off of this game but you could put adds on the game, and if you don’t want to do that you could probably make the costs cheaper. But this is still a great game and one day when I can I will pay for it..

It’s ok. But apparently gay dads only love to barbecue and tell bad jokes. It gets boring fast. Character interaction is very shallow, and the different quests with the different dads don’t really offer much in terms of variety. I would like to see indicators of where dialogue will take you instead of just guessing.

I’m sorry for my low rating, Dream Daddy is a great game I could go on a 13 page rant about how much I love Dream Daddy, BUT!! being a phone app this shouldn’t be so expensive! I can buy it for ps4 for less and have unlimited “data”(lets you go on dates) when on the app you have to either pay for 3 more for $4 or you pay $14.99 for unlimited. For a phone app. The data should replenish after a day or I should be able to watch ads to get at least one more data. I’m very disappointed.

I would love this especially this is a STEAM game and it cost the same price as the game at Steam for unlimited dates, likewise in app wise, just 3 dates in total unless you have money to pay for unlimited games, but I do agree with some with some type of refilling date bar each hour or days.

I thought this is going to be a somewhat thrashy game, judging by the name, but it’s got a real depth to it. The mini games are fun. I wish we can speed up the text without actually skipping through them. The characters all have their own charms and I would love to know more about all of them, but I just can’t bear the text animation. Maybe the FF button can be a Display Text All At Once button.

It’s a good game but the fact that I can’t continue paying cuz I have to pay for it is really crappy and I had to uninstall it, if you say a game is free it’s suppose to be free there isn’t even any way for me to even get free messages to take other routes it puts a real damper on the game cuz I really like it but it makes no senses me keeping it and I can’t continue playing cuz I can’t afford to buy messages with real money I wish it had something in place for people who can’t afford to buy

Love the story, love the art style, but so sad to see the price tag! I love supporting my favorite game devs, but for a game that is as small as it is, unfortunately it’s just a bit too steep for my price range. I would easily pay $3.99 or $4.99 for inclusive access to the game with unlimited messages, but $14.99 it too high for unlimited messages.

Love the game, but it was constantly crashing after each scene, sometimes without warning. Otherwise, it’s a great free-to-play mobile adaptation. Perfectly enjoyable without paying for the full game while also worth the full experience.

This game is great. I love the story, the relationship with Amanda is hilarious and cute, and the dads are varied enough for anyone. The dates are a bit expensive, but worth it when you see all of the cute scenarios. I’d recommend it to anyone, it’s made me laugh out loud sometimes, which I rarely do. Good job lads

Free part of the game is short. Writing is pretty good and a bit funny, so even though there aren’t many choices it is still entertaining. I did see an error where my character referenced a event that did not happen so mapping choices is sloppy. When ‘dadbook’ gets introduced though there is no way to continue without paying. This seems to be the start of the real game but its very expensive to proceed and still not sure what the gameplay is like. Also tries to force google play games on me 🙁

Honestly I’m in love with this game! This is genuinely the first lgbtq game I’ve seen that involves gay couples and same sex marriage! I absolutely love it! And someone who is part of the lgbtq community it warms my heart to see a game like this with actual work and effort put in! Keep up the good work and thank you so much for making the effort to make a game like this!!!

It was great, until I realised that the ‘game’ I was playing was just an intro and that I had to pay to continue playing. I feel like the description is a bit misleading – instead of saying it has in-app purchases, the game company should consider just straight up making people buy the app. Or consider ways to make it so that people without much money can play (like making people watch ads to get ‘lives’ or have them wait for a day to get one life).

It can be somewhat fun.. there isn’t to much options and for a game being a dating simulator, their isn’t much dating unless you buy the rest of the game. Most of the story is with the daughter who is a great character and but it gets boring after awhile and made me question what the point of the game was. It is rather annoying that I get a very quick “demo” of the game before I have to pay a steep price due to the issue it has… Lacks actual dating, steep price to continue and pretty basic…

All of the Dads were very well drawn, much more detailed than the character you play as. Our daughter was very realistic as were the Dads and the narrative as a whole was well written. I would keep it installed indefinitely if the replayability was improved. My suggestion for improvement is mostly directed at Craig’s path. To be specific I feel it should progress further when compared to the other Dads since we knew him in the past. His story ended in an awkward place.

Didn’t have any idea what this game was going to offer me before I downloaded it, but I’m very intrigued and satisfied by it! The animation, script and illustrations (both character and environment designs) really impress me and I wish i was part of the studio’s team in producing this game ? The game does heat up your phone pretty quickly and lags depending on which phone you’re playing on. I’m on a razer phone so it didn’t lag, but my sister played on an android and it lagged quite a lot.

Wonderful game. Unfortunately I think some of the daddies developing the story and artwork should have coordinated better for the scene where Craig was apparently jogging/running with a baby in a baby carrier. Nobody should ever run with a baby in a baby carrier. What was worse was neither the dads nor Amanda seemed to sense that this was a bad idea and everyone continued the conversation as if there was nothing wrong and Craig went back to his jogging. Yikes.

Cute game but not worth the money. I enjoyed the story and figuring out the characters… But I wish there was MORE. After every character you successfully romance the game is over… Plus, the ending is pretty much the same with every character. I would have loved more of the dating and romance aspect. Like after Amanda goes to college we could focus more on the romance or even a summer romance. Like I said, cute game but NOT worth the $15. ?

Awesome game, the only thing I disliked was the customization. The other characters(Amanda, Joseph, Robert, etc.) are well animated and detailed, whereas the character you design is very grainy and the hair isn’t completely colored in, and the options aren’t very good.

It’s a cute idea for a game and always great to see lgbtq content. However, like others mention you’re only getting a quick demo of the actual game. The story you’re required to read (or fast forward) through is very time consuming and not super thrilling. Once you start interacting with people other than your daughter it gets a bit more interesting, but the outcome of your “decisions” seems totally random. There’s really not a way to influence the storyline too much. Great animation though!

I will never get that hour of my life back. The game tricks you with nice graphics, but the character builder is terrible. it took me 45 minutes to try and make my dad even look like a GUY. all of the options make your dude look like a woman. the gameplay is horrible.. so much reading, about your teenage daughter. i don’t care about her because the story doesn’t make you care. and when you use the skip function, you have no idea what’s happening. such a waste of time. don’t bother!

This was a very fun game. The music was nice and relaxing. The different character each had there own thing going on about there life which really made it more intriguing. Each ending really related to the personality if each character.

It gets you all in the feels, ngl its a great game. But. It stops right before it starts to really get good and you have to pay $15.00 to unlock anything farther. You get maybe 30 mins of game play before you have to pay.
